Distinctive Embroidery Art

There’s just something about looking great that makes me feel good about myself.

And I feel beautiful when I wear my unique, custom embroidery! It’s exciting because I can wear something that I know no one
else in the whole world has! I have something that really differentiates my outfit from others’ because the design and colors are set just right to compliment my frame, complexion, and the season—it looks really good to my eyes and I really love the way I
look.

When I’m wearing my embroidery art, I am sometimes surprised by the amount of recognition I get from my friends and even from strangers. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve been complimented by complete strangers, and that’s a particular thrill!

Once I was wearing my bird-themed gray jeans, which have elaborately embroidered birds, birdhouses, flowers, butterflies, dragonflies, etc. embroidered up the side of one leg from hem to rivet, and I was waiting in line at the cutting table in a fabric
store. The lady behind the counter, who was doing the cutting, and happened to be facing me, exclaimed, “Ooh, I like your pants!” Everybody in line turned to look at me—and the ooh-ing and ahh-ing began! All of a sudden, nobody was even aware they were in line anymore, as they had come over and were studying the embroidery designs on my pants.

And the comments I got! The ladies asked where I got the jeans, and when I told them I embroidered them myself, they ooh’ed and aah’ed some more and began asking questions: Do I embroider jeans for other people? How much time did it take? How did I do it?

It’s so much fun when this happens!
