Medium And Small-Sized Designs

In this section, there are medium to small-sized designs (1 to 7 inches wide and/or tall). Some designs are horizontal, such as those that might go across the front of a sweatshirt or tee-shirt, some are more of a square shape, and still, others are more tall or vertical, which might look good going down a shirt or up a leg on some jeans, as you see here.

Often I use a number of compatible designs together to fill a large space or to complete the look of a project; all the designs contribute to the stunning look of the completed work.

Project Example: Feather Jeans

For example, in the Feather Jeans here, the embroidery is a mixture of over 40 gorgeous separate feather designs combined to make this incredible project. Full-size feather designs are mixed with smaller ones, some much smaller. Note that the colors are repeated and coordinated throughout, and the shape of the designs together is tapered in width from bottom to top to give them all a sort of “in-tune with each other” look. They all blend, mix, and balance with each other and together as a whole to make this magnificent showpiece that has earned many, many “Wow’s!”
